Born September 18, 1998, Percy is the sum of all that's right and wonderful in dogs. When she came home with us as a 6 week old puppy, she stole our hearts.  Percy is the reason we fell in love with the Manchester Terrier, and she still brings us so much joy as a senior ambassador for the breed.  Blessed with a phenomenal temperament blend of friendly house-dog and prey driven terrier, Percy charms every one she meets. She is a delight, a character, and just an extradordinarily intelligent and fun loving dog.

Percy began her career as a show dog later than some, but she was showed like a pro right out of the gate.  Easily completing her AKC Championship, Percy semi-retired from the show-ring to become the foundation bitch for our line; although, in 2005 and 2006 she earned several "Best Brace in Show" awards showing with her son, Casey, as well as BOS at the AMTC District 7 Specialty in Pasadena, California, over younger specials out of the Veterans class. In 2008, she was BOS in Veteran's Sweepstakes at the AMTC National Specialty in Hampton Road, Virgina, at age 10, and in 2009, she was BOS over at the AMTC District 2 Supported Entry over five bitch specials half her age including the #1 Toy Manchester in the US.

Percy's two litters produced nine puppies of whom five went on to earn AKC Championships.  In 2005, Percy's daughter, CH Rustic Lane Sugar Magnolia and CH Rustic Lane Casey Jones were BOS and Winners Dog, respectively, and the AMTC National Specialty in Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania, at 10 months old shown by their breeder/owner/handler, Carolyn.

Percy's children,  grand-children,  and great grand-children have achieved AKC Championships, multiple group placements, and a wide variety of other awards in both the Toy and Standard ring.  Recently, Percy's great-grandson, CH Rosewood Raise the Curtain, and Great Grand-daughter (twice), CH Starfire's That's What its All About, won group placements in the Toy and Terrier groups, respectively, at the same dog show in Las Vegas.
